Perspectives on the foundational truths of the gospel are being eroded not by decisions but through a subtle change of the norms. Do you sometimes feel confused about what you are reading in the bible? How does it fit together and how do I make sense of the Old Testament. This seminar will help overcome common obstacles to Bible reading, and to develop a lifelong habit of engaging with God's Word by helping to piece the puzzle together, understanding the importance of context and interpretation, the role of prayer and the Holy Spirit in Bible reading, and how to apply biblical principles to our daily lives.

Being single can present some real challenges. Fineke will explore these issues from a biblical view and her own experiences, facing the tough questions, considering how we can handle the issue well and how it is possible to find God in deeper ways through our singleness.

This session explores how compromise can occur subtly and gradually, without us even realizing it, leading us down a slippery slope that can ultimately can damage our faith and our kingdom impact. The seminar would aim to help us recognise the signs of compromise in our lives, and provide practical tools and strategies for avoiding and reversing the slide of compromise.
